MSSA is very proud to offer our members one of the finest summer conventions that we’ve ever assembled. In recent years, the number of exhibitors and the number of attendees have surpassed that of any other regional association and we expect to set new records at this meeting. Our registration totals rival that of an ISA regional event and you’ll find MSSA to be much more affordable and a lot less formal. This is the result of a combination of careful planning and a wonderfully supportive membership. The casual “table-top” style exhibits allow us to keep costs low and allow the exhibitor to display products with less effort and expense. Come and see what all the fuss is about! Exhibit hours will be Friday, July 16 from 5:00 pm – 7:15 pm, and Saturday, July 17th from 9:00 am – 11:30 am. Each exhibitor may extend his/her exhibit hours beyond closing time if needed. The “Exhibitors’ Reception” will be held during the Friday evening exhibits. Hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar will be set up in the exhibit hall. This event is free to all convention registrants. A complimentary continental breakfast will be provided during the Saturday morning exhibit hours.
Exhibitors shall display products in a manner deemed to be respectable by the MSSA and respectful of other exhibitors. MSSA must be notified in advance by exhibitors who plan to display an electronic message center or any other display that might be deemed visually disruptive to other exhibitors. Exhibitors who choose to display electronic message centers and other visually disruptive displays will be assigned booths that do not face other exhibitors, no exceptions. Displays should not obstruct the view of attendees and that of adjacent exhibitors. No displays should exceed a total height of 6 ft. This is a “table top” style show in an 8-ft. x 8ft. booth area. MSSA reserves the right to disallow unacceptable or obstructive displays or any display that may be deemed disruptive and to strategically locate message centers. Vehicles of any kind are not allowed.
Exhibitors will be provided with a 6’ x 30” draped and skirted table, two chairs, tent cards naming the exhibitor and convention registration for one exhibitor. If an extra table (6’ x 18”) is needed to be placed in back of the booth, the price will be $35 extra. If an extra table is needed horizontally along the front of the booth, another adjacent booth will need to be purchased. Electricity is $35 extra and internet connection is $50 per day. If an extension cord and power strip are needed, the rental fee is $15. Assignment of space is on a first-come, first–served basis, starting with Gold, Silver and Bronze Sponsorship with Gold Premium companies having first choice. Gold Premium Sponsors pledged in early February to gold sponsorships for all three MSSA 2010 meetings. MSSA Members will receive priority over non-members. Space is limited so please register as soon as possible.
Ship materials: Your Name and Company, Mid South Sign Association, C/O Marriott Shoals Hotel/TONY FOWLER: 800 Cox Creek Parkway South, Florence, AL 35630. Materials should not arrive at the hotel before July, 9th.
Exhibit setup is Friday, July 16th from 2:00pm – 5:00 pm in the Shoals Ballroom C, D and E. All exhibits must be dismantled and completely removed by 2:00 pm Saturday, July 17th.
The exhibitor assumes the entire responsibility and liability for losses, damages, and claims arising out of exhibitor’s activities on the Hotel premises and will indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Hotel, its agents, servants, employees, and MSSA from any and all such losses, damages and claims. |
