Karen Warr Retirement

This quote sums up over 20 years of dedication to the MSSA spirit that Karen Warr has given. I distinctly remember how I felt when I attended my first event in Savannah, Tennessee, sixteen years ago. Karen welcomed me with open arms. I do not remember another time after that in which we have not greeted each other with a friendly hug. The feeling of belonging, togetherness and camaraderie are cornerstones of our membership philosophy.
With all good things, as they say, we are nearing the end of an era. It is with great anticipation that I announce the retirement of Karen Warr.
I imagine all of us look forward to the day that we are in 100% control of our time and resources, and I am sure Karen has earned her place in that category.
Beginning in 2022, we will be looking forward to the future of our organization. We will be taking the work done from the past and transitioning into a new generation that has experienced the all-encompassing work that Karen has put into all our lives. She will forever be etched into the fabric of this organization, and we will forever remember her dedication to making us all feel welcome.
