MSSA Members Serving On 2022 ISA Board of Directors

2022 ISA Board of Directors

The governing body of ISA is the Board of Directors. The Board of Directors has supervision, control and direction of the affairs of the ISA, its committees and publications; determines its policies; and actively pursues its objectives and supervises the disbursement of its funds.  Board members are committed to furthering ISA’s vision: To be the leader in shaping and developing the sign, graphics and visual communications community worldwide.

The Mid-South Sign Association is thrilled to recognize our members who are currently serving on the ISA Board of Directors for 2022. We are proud of our members and this noteworthy achievement.

Executive Committee:

Chair, Michael Hage (MSSA President, 2012)

"It is a privilege and distinction to serve as the Chairman of the Board for ISA this year.  This honor has been bestowed on others before me whom I’ve always looked up to and admired.  It is a huge responsibility and I look forward to serving in this capacity.  To be a part of something that helps shape and drive the industry, that I love so much, is so rewarding.  My journey started with the Mid South Sign Association and I honestly believe had it not been for those experiences and relationships, I would not be where I am today.

Having served on ISA committees and then working my way through the Executive Committee and ultimately to ISA Chairman, has allowed me to see educational programs, networking events, etc., that we worked on years before, come to fruition.  These types of member benefits along with Sign Expo are invaluable and should be taken advantage of.

Speaking of Sign Expo, it will be held at a new venue this year, the World Congress Center in Atlanta, GA on May 4 – 6, which is very close to our region.  If you have never been to Sign Expo before, I would highly recommend attending.  Trust me, you won’t be disappointed!

One of the biggest challenges we faced at ISA, was dealing with the Covid-19 Pandemic and not being able to have a show for two years in a row.  I personally think people are ready to get out and explore the ‘show life’ again and see what all is out there.  To have a successful Sign Expo this year, would be the greatest accomplishment I could ever ask for.  The amazing staff and leadership team at ISA having been working their tails off to make sure this show will be very successful and one for the books!

I look forward to seeing everyone at MSSA Idea Exchange at Headrick Sign Company in Laurel, MS in March."

Secretary/Treasurer, Mandy Wisner (MSSA President, 2011)

“It is such an honor and privilege to serve on the Executive Committee of ISA. The staff and board of directors of this organization are committed to our goal to be the leader in shaping and developing the sign, graphics and visual community.

I’m really looking forward to our first live EXPO since 2019!  It will be May 4-6 in Atlanta. We are fortunate to have an MSSA’s Past President as ISA’s Chair of the Board. Michael Hage, All Signs, Inc. Gulfport, MS, will be front and center cutting the ribbon to open the Expo floor!  This venue is very close to our region and I encourage everyone to make the trip. There will be many educational and networking events available. One I would like to highlight is Women Leading the Industry (WLI). It’s an initiative launched by the International Sign Association in partnership with Sign Builder Illustrated. We will work to inspire and empower women in the sign, graphic and visual communications industry who aspire to elevated leadership roles in their company and the industry.”
